Location: Fully remote from France.
Schedule: Five days per week, 9h00 - 18h00 local time in France.
Salary: The salary is between €30,000 - €40,000 gross per annum, and is dependent upon location, experience, skills, and training.

What you will do:
- Perform monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining
- account reconciliations, and conducting monthly variance analysis.
- Lead the handover of the accounting function from our external accountants to inhouse accounting.
- Lead with the localisation of our Oracle Fusion eXp France instance to be locally compliant.
- Assist in reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.
- Provide support for quarterly and annual audits, including preparing detailed schedules, supporting documentation, and financial reports.
- Oversee asset management and intercompany accounting.
- Respond to external and internal queries via email and phone.
- Identify and calculate provisions and handle exceptions to standard bookings.
- Assist in the development and documentation of business processes, procedures, checklists, and policies.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
How you will grab our attention:
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of combined experience in accounting and the general ledger close process.
- Strong understanding of local GAAP accounting principles; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills preferred.

Remote Location:
This position allows you to work from any location in France with a stable internet connection. You are expected to provide your own workspace and reliable internet access.
Work Hours:
While core hours are based on the local business schedule, you have flexibility in organizing your work, provided it does not compromise project deadlines or team collaboration.
Equipment and Expenses:
You will be provided with a company computer and other necessary equipment. Work-related expenses will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
